Description
Precautions
01. Temperature Control
Avoid prolonged operation above 175°C, as excessive heat may accelerate adhesive degradation and cause thermal damage to foam substrates.
02.Remove Release Paper Before Melting
Remove the outer white release paper before loading the adhesive blocks into the melting tank. Do not place the packaging paper into the tank, as foreign material may clog the spray gun.
03.Control Spray Application
Carefully adjust the adhesive application rate and temperature during foam spraying to help minimize excessive penetration into the foam.
04.Allow Sufficient Setting Time Before Stacking
After spraying and lamination, allow the bonded materials to rest and set sufficiently before stacking or packaging. Applying pressure before the adhesive has set may cause substrate slippage or adhesive penetration defects.
05.Daily Equipment Cleaning
Clean accumulated contaminants and settled residues from the bottom of the melting tank at the end of each production day to help reduce the risk of spray gun blockage.
Key Benefits
01.Excellent Low-Viscosity Atomization with Controlled Foam Penetration
With a low melt viscosity of 2,800 cps at 170°C, OGD-44A supports uniform spray atomization and adjustable adhesive application. Its controlled wetting helps reduce excessive penetration into foam pores, helping preserve the foam's softness and resilience.
02.High Initial Tack for Automated Production Lines
With an initial tack of >20 lb copper ball, the adhesive provides rapid positioning after foam spraying and compression, helping support efficient processing on continuous automated mattress lamination lines.
03.Minimal Stringing for a Clean Finished Appearance
Stable melt flow and leveling support clean spray application with minimal stringing, helping reduce unwanted adhesive transfer to surrounding foam and fabric surfaces and maintain product appearance and comfort.
04.SGS Environmental Safety Testing for Bedding Applications
Tested by SGS for environmental safety, OGD-44A is formulated to support mattress and upholstered furniture manufacturing requirements. Refer to the applicable test report for specific test results and compliance details.
05.Multi-Substrate Compatibility for Flexible Production
In addition to foam lamination, OGD-44A can bond pocket springs, fibers, nonwoven fabrics, plastics, and paper products, supporting the production of various mattress components and helping simplify adhesive inventory management.
