Description
Precautions
01.Equipment Preheating and Temperature Control
Preheat the hot melt adhesive equipment before operation. Strictly control the adhesive temperature and adhesive application pressure/speed during production. Turn off the equipment promptly after use to prevent prolonged high-temperature exposure from accelerating adhesive aging and causing performance degradation.
02.Complete Bonding Within the Open Time
All bonding and forming operations must be completed within the adhesive's open time. Secure and clamp the bonded workpieces promptly after application, then allow them to cool naturally to room temperature to ensure firm and stable bonding of midsoles and insoles.
03.High-Temperature Protection
Hot melt adhesive equipment and molten adhesive operate at high temperatures. Never touch the equipment or molten adhesive with bare hands. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment throughout the operation to prevent thermal burns.
04.Workplace Safety
Maintain good ventilation in the work area and keep the equipment away from open flames and high-temperature sources to minimize safety risks.
05.Avoid Skin and Eye Contact
Prevent molten adhesive from coming into contact with the eyes or skin. In case of skin contact, immediately cool the affected area with continuous cold-water rinsing or immersion. After cooling, carefully remove the bonded adhesive and seek medical attention promptly. For complete safety information, refer to the product MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet).
06.Substrate Compatibility Testing
Hot melt adhesive bonding performance can be significantly affected by application temperature, equipment parameters, and substrate surface treatment. For difficult-to-bond substrates such as coated or painted surfaces, conduct a small-scale compatibility test before mass production and proceed with full-scale production only after satisfactory bonding performance has been confirmed.
Key Benefits
01.High-Tack APAO System for High-Strength Insole and Midsole Bonding
Formulated with a dedicated high-tack APAO system optimized for load-bearing footwear applications, OGD-9045A delivers high bonding strength and excellent peel strength. It is well suited for thick materials and multi-layer foam and fabric lamination, providing reliable bonding under prolonged compression and helping prevent midsole delamination.
02.Excellent Melt Flow for Automated High-Volume Production
After setting, the adhesive maintains stable performance with excellent resistance to aging, compression, and fatigue. It helps prevent adhesion loss, delamination, and embrittlement during long-term footwear use, reducing bonding defects in midsoles and insoles while improving finished-product durability.
03.Durable Holding Power and Excellent Aging Resistance
After setting, the adhesive maintains stable performance with excellent resistance to aging, compression, and fatigue. It helps prevent adhesion loss, delamination, and embrittlement during long-term footwear use, reducing bonding defects in midsoles and insoles while improving finished-product durability.
04.Wide Operating Temperature Range for Stable Production
With a recommended operating temperature range of 160–180°C and a softening point of 110 ± 5°C, OGD-9045A offers a broad processing window and good temperature tolerance, supporting stable and consistent bonding performance during large-scale production.
05.Dual-Process Compatibility for Flexible Manufacturing
Compatible with both spray coating and roller coating processes, OGD-9045A can be flexibly adapted according to production-line equipment, product structure, and adhesive application requirements. It is suitable for various footwear lamination, midsole bonding, and insole bonding applications.
