Description
Precautions
01.Equipment Preheating and Temperature Control
Preheat the hot melt adhesive equipment before operation. Strictly control the adhesive temperature and adhesive pressure/speed during production. Turn off the power promptly after shutdown to prevent prolonged high-temperature exposure and adhesive aging.
02.Complete Bonding Within the Open Time
All bonding and forming operations must be completed within the adhesive's open time. Clamp and secure the bonded materials after application, then allow the workpiece to cool naturally to room temperature to ensure a firm and stable bond.
03.High-Temperature Protection
Hot melt adhesive equipment and molten adhesive reach extremely high temperatures. Never touch them with bare hands during operation. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment throughout the process to prevent thermal burns.
04.Workplace Safety
Maintain good ventilation in the work area and keep the equipment away from open flames and high-temperature sources to minimize safety risks.
05.Avoid Skin and Eye Contact
Prevent molten adhesive from coming into contact with the eyes or skin. In case of skin contact, immediately cool the affected area with continuous cold-water rinsing or immersion. After cooling, carefully remove the bonded adhesive and seek medical attention promptly. For complete safety information, refer to the product MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet).
06.Substrate Compatibility Testing
Adhesive performance is highly affected by temperature and substrate surface treatment. For difficult-to-bond substrates such as coated or painted surfaces, conduct a small-scale compatibility test before mass production and proceed with full-scale production only after confirming satisfactory bonding performance.
Key Benefits
01.Excellent Melt Flow for High-Speed Spray Application
With a low-viscosity formulation of 1,500 cps, OGD-9011BD provides excellent melt flow at high temperatures, ensuring uniform spray atomization with minimal stringing and reduced risk of nozzle clogging. It is ideally suited for automated footwear spray coating lines, helping achieve clean and consistent finished products.
02.Strong Initial Tack and Excellent Peel Strength
The adhesive provides strong initial tack, durable holding power, and excellent peel strength. Bonded upper materials and foam layers resist delamination and adhesive failure under repeated bending, pulling, and friction during everyday footwear use.
03.Excellent Aging Resistance for Durable Finished Products
After setting, the adhesive maintains stable performance with excellent aging resistance, helping prevent adhesion loss and embrittlement. It is designed to support the long-term durability requirements of footwear products while reducing the risk of bonding defects during service.
04.Dual-Process Compatibility for Flexible Production
Compatible with both spray coating and roller coating processes, OGD-9011BD can be flexibly integrated into different production lines according to equipment configuration and product structure, meeting diverse footwear lamination requirements.
05.Color Options for Diverse Product Requirements
In addition to the yellow adhesive block version, a white footwear hot melt adhesive with equivalent performance is also available. The white version is suitable for light-colored and transparent upper materials, supporting diverse footwear product designs and production requirements.
