Description
Precautions
01.Equipment Preheating and Temperature Control
Preheat the hot melt adhesive equipment before operation. Strictly control the adhesive temperature and adhesive application pressure/speed during production. Turn off the equipment promptly after use to prevent prolonged high-temperature exposure from accelerating adhesive aging and causing performance degradation.
02.Complete Bonding Within the Open Time
All bonding and forming operations must be completed within the adhesive's open time. Secure and clamp the bonded workpieces promptly after application, then allow them to cool naturally to room temperature to ensure firm and stable bonding of midsoles and insoles.
03.High-Temperature Protection
Hot melt adhesive equipment and molten adhesive operate at high temperatures. Never touch the equipment or molten adhesive with bare hands. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment throughout the operation to prevent thermal burns.
04.Workplace Safety
Maintain good ventilation in the work area and keep the equipment away from open flames and high-temperature sources to minimize safety risks.
05.Avoid Skin and Eye Contact
Prevent molten adhesive from coming into contact with the eyes or skin. In case of skin contact, immediately cool the affected area with continuous cold-water rinsing or immersion. After cooling, carefully remove the bonded adhesive and seek medical attention promptly. For complete safety information, refer to the product MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet).
06.Substrate Compatibility Testing
Hot melt adhesive bonding performance can be significantly affected by application temperature, equipment parameters, and substrate surface treatment. For difficult-to-bond substrates such as coated or painted surfaces, conduct a small-scale compatibility test before mass production and proceed with full-scale production only after satisfactory bonding performance has been confirmed.
Key Benefits
01.Pure White Formulation for Light-Colored Footwear Materials
Featuring a dedicated clean white formulation, OGD-9014W resists yellowing and color impurities, maintaining a clean white adhesive layer after application. It is ideally suited for white and light-colored uppers, linings, and insoles, helping prevent discoloration from yellow adhesives and protect the finished appearance.
02.Low Viscosity and Excellent Melt Flow for High-Speed Spray Application
With a low-viscosity formulation of 1,200 cps, OGD-9014W provides excellent melt flow and uniform spray atomization with minimal stringing and reduced risk of nozzle clogging. It is well suited for high-speed automated footwear production lines, supporting efficient application and clean finished products.
03.High Tack and Peel Strength for Reliable Bonding
The adhesive provides strong initial tack, high peel strength, and sufficient cohesive strength after setting. It bonds closely to flexible substrates such as upper fabrics and foam, while resisting repeated bending, pulling, and friction to help prevent delamination and adhesive failure.
04.Stable Holding Power and Excellent Aging Resistance
After setting, OGD-9014W maintains stable performance with excellent resistance to aging and fatigue. It helps prevent embrittlement and loss of adhesion during long-term use, reducing bonding-related defects in light-colored footwear products and improving overall durability.
05.Dual-Process Compatibility for Flexible Production
Compatible with both spray coating and roller coating processes, OGD-9014W can be flexibly integrated according to production-line equipment and product structure, making it suitable for various footwear lamination and lining-to-foam lamination applications.
