OGD-6100 Hot Melt Adhesive Specially Developed for Packaging Applications
Packaging-grade hot melt adhesive compatible with both spray coating and knife coating processes. It offers stable and controllable application temperatures, helping prevent thermal degradation and adhesive failure at high temperatures. Bonding performance can be flexibly adjusted according to different operating conditions. With a long shelf life and standardized safe handling, it is well suited for automated, high-volume packaging production.
Description
Precautions
01. Surface Preparation
Thoroughly clean the surfaces of the materials to be bonded before adhesive application. Ensure that the substrates are clean and free from dust, oil, and other contaminants to maintain consistent bonding performance.
02. Application Temperature Control
Strictly control the application temperature. Do not operate continuously at temperatures above 180°C, as prolonged exposure to excessive heat may cause thermal degradation of the adhesive and reduce bonding strength.
03. Open Time and Setting Performance
The adhesive open time and setting performance are affected by the adhesive temperature, ambient temperature, coating weight, assembly time, and applied pressure. These parameters can be fine-tuned according to actual operating conditions.
04. Safe Handling
Keep the product out of reach of children. Molten hot melt adhesive reaches very high temperatures and must not be touched directly during operation. Take appropriate precautions to prevent thermal burns.
05. First Aid for Burns
In the event of a hot melt adhesive burn, immediately immerse the affected area in cool running water for at least 10 minutes and seek medical attention promptly. For complete safety and handling instructions, please refer to the product SDS (Safety Data Sheet).
Key Benefits
01.Efficient Dual-Process Compatibility
Compatible with both spray coating and knife coating processes, and suitable for standard automated hot melt adhesive equipment and high-speed packaging production lines.
02.Stable High-Temperature Performance
A scientifically controlled application temperature range helps minimize thermal degradation and adhesive failure under high-temperature conditions, ensuring stable bonding performance during extended production runs.
03.Flexible Application Performance
Bonding and setting performance can be adjusted according to application temperature, coating weight, bonding pressure, and other operating conditions, meeting the bonding requirements of various packaging materials.
04.Long-Term Storage Stability
When properly sealed and stored in a cool, dry environment, OGD-601 offers a shelf life of up to 24 months. It maintains stable performance during long-term storage, helping reduce material waste and improve adhesive utilization.
05.Safe and Standardized Production
Clear application procedures and defined safety requirements help minimize production risks, making OGD-601 suitable for large-scale, automated packaging operations.
