Description
I. Precautions
1. Do not keep the melting temperature above 175°C for extended periods; high temperatures will accelerate adhesive aging, causing the spine to become brittle and reducing resistance to ink penetration.
2. Close the glue tank lid immediately after feeding pellets; dust mixed into the adhesive will form white raised spots on the spine, affecting the appearance of the publication.
3. When coating laminated thick paper, appropriately extend the open time to ensure the adhesive fully wets the paper coating, avoiding delamination of the lamination film.
4. After binding, allow books to rest until fully cured before trimming and stacking; pressure applied before setting may cause page delamination and a crooked spine.
5. Clean sediment from the bottom of the glue tank before extended shutdowns to prevent carbon deposits from clogging the glue application rollers.
II. Core Advantages
1. Universal across all categories of printing paper, one-stop for bookbinding: Covers light writing paper, regular offset paper, and heavy coated art paper — textbooks, bid documents, magazines, and notebooks can all run on a single binding line, reducing multi-model inventory.
2. Moderate open and setting window for high tolerance in manual book adjustment: With both open time and setting time of 10–15 seconds, there is ample time to align pages and correct the spine during binding, greatly reducing defects from page misalignment and weak bonding.
3. High toughness and flex resistance, spine stays intact over time: The cured adhesive layer is flexible and elastic — student textbooks and frequently turned magazines can be flexed repeatedly without spine cracking or page fall-out, and vibration during warehousing and long-haul transport will not cause debonding.
4. Stringing-free and ink-penetration resistant, clean and neat publications: The glue application rollers run stringing-free throughout, keeping spine edges clean without adhesive filaments; resistance to ink and grease penetration prevents printing inks from swelling and damaging the bonding layer, and thick laminated paper will not peel.
5. Light milky-white with low color grade, ideal for light/white cover publications: With a Gardner color of only 2–3, the milky-white adhesive will not show through and stain light-colored covers or inner pages, keeping premium albums and bid documents cleaner in appearance.
