Description
I. Precautions
1. Do not hold the melting temperature above 175°C for extended periods; prolonged overheating accelerates adhesive aging and reduces toughness, making books prone to debinding (pages opening).
2. Keep the adhesive tank sealed and dust-proof; paper dust entering the adhesive will compromise bonding quality.
3. Adjust the 15–20 second open window according to book thickness and binding machine speed to ensure adequate pressing.
4. Allow bound books to cure fully before trimming and stacking.
II. Core Advantages
1. Broad compatibility across printing papers: Wets 50–100 gsm writing paper and 60–108 gsm offset paper well, enabling stable binding of notebooks, bid documents, and magazines.
2. Moderate open time, ideal for thick book binding: The 15–20 second window leaves ample time to align and press thick books, suiting spiral notebooks and thick bid documents.
3. Balanced setting speed that matches line rhythm: Setting in 10–15 seconds after pressing, it maintains steady throughput and improves the continuous operating efficiency of binding equipment.
4. High cohesive strength keeps pages secure: Excellent cohesion prevents page fall-out and spine cracking under repeated opening and flexing of the book.
5. Stringing-free application for a clean book finish: The molten adhesive lays down without stringing, leaving clean spine edges and enhancing the finished appearance of printed products.
6. Oil penetration resistance: Withstands slight migration of printing ink for long-lasting, stable bonding.
