Description
I. Precautions
1. Do not keep the melting temperature above 170°C for extended periods; high temperatures will reduce transparency, cause yellow stains on cover edges, and shorten curing durability.
2. Close the tank lid promptly after feeding; dust falling into the adhesive will form white particle blemishes on laminated covers, damaging the appearance of premium publications.
3. For special thick art paper and matte laminated covers, appropriately extend the open time to ensure the adhesive fully wets the coating, preventing cover peeling.
4. After side-gluing, allow books to rest until fully cured before stacking and packing; pressure applied before setting may cause cover shifting and adhesive squeeze-out at the edges.
5. Filter sediment from the bottom of the tank before daily line shutdown to reduce carbon deposits clogging the glue application nozzles.
II. Core Advantages
1. Dedicated formula for high-end book cover side gluing, transparent without ruining the premium appearance: Light yellow transparent pellets cure into a thin, clear adhesive layer with no heavy white edges or yellow stains — suitable for light-colored, matte, and laminated premium album covers, leaving clean, refined finished edges.
2. Low viscosity with high flowability for even thin coating on narrow edges: The 4,500 cP low-viscosity system offers excellent flow, enabling thin coating on narrow book cover edges without adhesive overflow staining printed cover graphics — compatible with high-speed hardcover side-gluing machines.
3. Extra-long open and setting window for high tolerance in manual hardcover operation: With an open time of 15–20 seconds and a setting time of 20–30 seconds, operators have ample time to align and correct the cover edges, greatly reducing misaligned covers and weak-bond defects.
4. High bonding durability, covers stay flat through repeated use: The cured adhesive layer is flexible and fold-resistant — under long-term reading and stacked storage, hardcover side edges do not crack or lift, and resist ink erosion without delamination.
5. Stringing-free coating, clean side edges without adhesive filaments: Stable melt leveling keeps roller and narrow-slit spray coating stringing-free throughout, leaving clean edges on high-end publications without secondary trimming to remove adhesive filaments — improving binding efficiency.
