Description
I. Precautions
1.Strictly control the melting temperature: Avoid prolonged heating above 145\text{^\circ C} to prevent the adhesive from aging, becoming brittle, losing its flexibility, and compromising the cushioning performance of the EPE foam.
2.Minimize dust during feeding: Due to the thin and lightweight flake/granular texture, minimize air drafts when feeding material, and cover the melting tank immediately afterward to prevent dust from causing white spot blemishes on the lining.
3.Allow natural cooling: Finished processed goods must air-cool for 5 minutes before stacking. Stacking or pressing before complete curing will cause the adhesive layer to slip and the lining to misalign.
4.Proper waste disposal: Waste adhesive blocks must not be discarded randomly; they can be re-melted at low temperatures for secondary use. Aged and blackened adhesive must be collected and disposed of centrally.
5.Refer to MSDS: For complete substrate compatibility and high-temperature aging test data, consult the product's MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet).
II. Core Advantages
1.Flexible and soft formulation preserves EPE cushioning: The bonded composite area remains elastic and soft without forming a hard adhesive layer. Lining flexibility and cushioning protection are unimpaired, ensuring stable anti-collision protection during the transportation of precision electronics.
Low-temperature processing prevents EPE substrate scorching and loss: Operating at a processing temperature of only 125\text{--}145\text{^\circ C}—far lower than hot-melt adhesives for paper and cartons—it avoids burning through or thinning the EPE foam, significantly reducing the scrap rate from foam deformation.
Balanced open and curing window for manual/semi-automated lines: An open time of 5–8 seconds and curing time of 5–10 seconds give operators ample time for alignment and adjustment, reducing weak bonds and misalignments during complex, irregular lining assembly.
Controlled viscosity for balanced penetration without foam collapse: Designed with a viscosity of , the adhesive will not excessively penetrate the EPE pores and cause substrate collapse. Surface bonding is secure, and lining flatness is improved.
Transparent, clean, and stain-free for high-end gift linings: The white transparent thin flakes melt into a clear adhesive layer with no yellow stains to contaminate the EPE foam, making it suitable for high-end shockproof lining processing in cosmetics, digital instruments, and jewelry.
